Hello and welcome to Emancipation Of Mandy! My name is Amanda, or as my family calls me, Mandy. This blog was created as a way to officially kick-off my new life after a long three-and-a-half years in graduate school for communication. My goal is to provide readers an inside look into my life and adventures including, fashion, cooking, do-it-yourself projects, my career aspirations in on-camera hosting and anything else that passes through my life.

• I live in the best neighborhood in Phoenix – Arcadia!
• I’m addicted to candy, fashion (blogs) and television
• I did stand-up comedy for about a year
• I could eat nachos and popcorn everyday for the rest of my life
• I’m a bit obsessed with working out
• And most importantly I have big aspirations in life – to become a host on E! and move to LA and NYC
